Relationship: Malinda Cook Dudley is my 2nd great-grandmother. She was born May 15, 1831, in Virginia, the daughter of Elizabeth "Betsie" Crawford and Abraham Cook. She married George Washington Dudley on 6 June 1850 in Hancock County, Indiana. They had eight children.

Malinda Dudley is mentioned in her father Abraham Cook's will on 20 March 1867, however the document has the spelling of her name as Belinda Dudley.
He father Abrahm Cook arrived in Hancock County, Indiana prior to 1840 and is listed in the census in that county for that year. Abraham Cook passed away on 17 December 1868, in Hancock County, Indiana at the age of 75.
Malinda's husband George Washington Dudley passed away on April 9, 1875, in Hancock County, Indiana, at the age of 47. They had been married for 24 years.
Her mother Elizabeth "Betsie" Crawford Cook passed away on November 25, 1875, in Indiana.
